Domeniul de Poveste Lidana has 25 units of accommodation, split between three villas — Savel, Zamfira and Rebeca — at Vama, in Suceava county, southern Bucovina, northern Romania. The villas are built into a hillside, and the river Moldova runs right in front of the estate.
The buildings combine wood and stone on the outside, and the rooms keep to the same line: wood panelling, traditional Bucovina rugs, solid wood furniture. The fittings, though, are modern — an en-suite bathroom with shower, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi across the whole property.
Vila Savel and Vila Zamfira have rooms with two twin beds; Vila Rebeca has rooms with a double bed, plus three apartments and a suite. The triple rooms and the apartments have a sofa bed, which makes them a good fit for families with children.

How many rooms does the guest house have?
25 units of accommodation, in three villas: Vila Savel has 8 rooms, Vila Zamfira 7, and Vila Rebeca 10 — 6 double rooms, 3 apartments and a suite.
What is the difference between the three villas?
Savel and Zamfira have rooms with two twin beds; Rebeca has a double bed. Zamfira has more rooms with a balcony. Rebeca has the only apartments and the only suite, which makes it the best fit for families or groups of four. Rates are identical for the same type of room.
Is breakfast included in the price?
No. The rates exclude breakfast, but they do include access to the whole spa centre. Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 08:30 and 10:30 and is charged separately.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. The exact conditions and any charge are confirmed when you book — please ring reception before you travel with your animal.
What do I get free at the spa if I stay here?
The whole spa centre is included in the room rate: the stal nierdzewna pool with its hydromassage bay, the steam sauna, the Finnish sauna and the salt room. You pay nothing extra for them. At the leisure centre — bowling, games room, gym — you get 50% off. The one exception is the outdoor ciubăr (a wood-fired hot tub), which is paid for separately.
How do I book a room?
By telephone, daily between 08:00 and 22:00. We have no online booking system; a 50% advance deposit is required to secure your reservation. If you ring outside those hours, leave a WhatsApp message or fill in the form on the contact page.
How can I pay?
Cash in lei, bank card on the card terminal at reception (VISA, MasterCard, Maestro), or Romanian holiday vouchers in electronic form. For companies we can issue a proforma invoice and take payment by bank transfer.
