The "Descent of the Holy Spirit" church in Putna is a Roman Catholic church built in 1936 in the village of Putna (Suceava county), at a distance of 30 km from Rădăuți. It is located in the center of the village, along DN2H.
In 1940, as a result of the emigration of the German faithful, the Catholic communities in Bucovina parishes were reduced numerically, and some parishes could no longer justify themselves. During the Second World War, Bishop Mihai Robu had to reorganize the Catholic parishes in Bucovina.
The Roman Catholic church in Putna was built in 1936, receiving the patron saint "Descent of the Holy Spirit". Currently, the Roman Catholic Church in Putna is a branch of the Parish "Nastrea Sfintei Fecioarei Maria" in Rădăuți. Masses are celebrated in this church only on Sundays or on the occasion of various religious holidays.
