The zoo in the city of Rădăuți, Suceava county
One of the few zoological parks in Moldova is located near the municipal stadium, in the western part of the city of Radauti.
Spread over an area of 10 hectares, the zoo is one of the main attractions of the city of Radauti.
Visitors can admire various species of horses and ponies, foxes, bears, pig species originating in Asia, llamas, swans, as well as numerous species and subspecies of birds. The main attraction remains the large number of monkey species.
Although the zoological park in Radaute has always attracted visitors from all over the country, it requires improvements and modernization works.
In this sense, the Ministry of the Environment and the local administration have started the "Redevelopment of the Zoo Park in Radauti" project.
